Day one was a driving day, driving rain driving snow driving hail !!. Wee stop off at Dalwhinnie, rude not to, guys in there were brilliant and kept Kora whilst I visited the facilities. Lunch stop in Inverness, we went to Scotch and Rye in the Queensgate, Dog-friendly and very tasty food. Headed over to chanory point and had a nice walk but unfortunately no dolphins to be seen today. Then a wee drive to the hotel, the Ben Wyvis in Strathpeffer, it is a little nursing home like but the staff are very friendly, especially to Kora, and bowsl of water and treats were supplied often. Had dinner in the lounge as that is dog friendly and it was very good and reasonable. Looking forward to Day 2 heading for Thurso
