What a wet day day four has been, pretty much all the way from Ullapool to Plockton it did not stop raining, so stops were restricted today. We did have a cracking walk at the NT run Corrieshalloch Gorge, lots of work has been done on new paths and the center was lovely and the coffee was pretty good. There is a suspension bridge over the Gorge which is massively deep and further up a cantilevered viewing platform. I did not get there I went the path on the other side, the suspension bridge did me and vertigo kicked in, nice walk nonetheless. We headed down in the car stopping at a few viewpoints that provided no views lol. Stopped off at StrathCarron Hotel and had a cracking bowl of Cullen Skink. Arrived in Plockton early due to fewer stops and unfortunately the room was not ready so I had to go to the bar and have a pint or two whilst I waited, lovely staff and a good pint of West 4. When we got the room wow best room of the stay so far beautifully done, with a large shower. Dinner in the bar with Kora was lovely nice mussels, then a well-cooked steak, a nice glass of pinot noir, and headed upstairs to chill and settle down, oh and the bed was really comfortable, and a great night's sleep was had.
